We're a non-profit organization, operating primarily through volunteer efforts & organized outreach. We use yearly dues to fund large marketing efforts & encourage brides to plan a wedding in our beautiful state. For a minimal yearly fee, members enjoy the benefits listed below. We accept Montana wedding vendors, located on the Continental divide & westward, who will adhere to our code of ethics, and other professional business qualifications.
Previously known as the Bitterroot Wedding Association, we've been working tirelessly since 2014, growing interest in a wide range of Montana areas from the Bitterroot valley to Glacier, Flathead, Whitefish, Kalispell, Missoula, Butte, Bozeman, Yellowstone, Great Falls, Billings and all the picturesque places in between. We've had great success in growing our local wedding community into a friendly, helpful & collaborative group of wedding vendors, and we're always welcoming new faces. In 2018, we were approved as a non-profit organization, and decided to change our Association's name and expand our areas of assistance, in hopes of driving even more business to the lesser known splendors of Western Montana. We now allow vendors who service any part of Western Montana, and we strive to provide potential clients an easy way of finding professional wedding vendors who are perfect for their wedding & event needs.
A fun new way to host a wedding fair! Brides will meet at a hub, shop the Bridal Haus consignment market, and get assigned a bus. Buses transport brides to local venues, where a "mini" wedding fair will be set up at each location! Limited numbers of vendors at each venue, and small numbers of brides arriving at each venue at one time, allow for more one on one interaction with potential clients. To find out more, click below!
Our annual Wedding Fair is held the first Saturday of November. We work hard to create a fun and educational event that pulls potential clients from all over Montana and even into Idaho, Washington & beyond. A relaxing atmosphere with mimosas, live music, and interactive areas, the vibe at our event isn't your typical wedding fair feel. We partner with The Bridal Haus, a unique wedding consignment boutique, which allows past brides to sell decor to brides to be. Bridal Haus creates a great demand, and potential clients often arrive early to check out the resale market before attending the fair. We're not a huge wedding fair - we do limit the number of vendors who participate, and we fill slots quickly when registration opens (on May 1).
Our first year of producing a magazine is in the works! A matte cover, 64 page magazine with beautiful, Western Montana wedding images is underway, and we encourage you to submit your weddings for publication. The magazine is projected to hit the shelves by our November 2 wedding fair. We only accept advertisements from Association members, and we feature weddings which use local vendors. So please continue to refer one another, so we've got the best local content. Styled shoots are also accepted, but all vendors participating in the styled shoots must be members of our organization to get published. Again, we work hard to provide collaboration and teamwork within our group! We work together to better our wedding market.
We are always looking for magazine articles & weddings to feature! But more permamently, and importantly, we love creative blog content to feature, as not everything will make it into the magazine. Consider writing content or submitting photos for our magazine or our blog. We want to be helpful to potential clients, by providing a valuable resource! Share your real weddings using the link below (remember, we want weddings which feature our members, primarily!) Need help brainstorming some blog ideas? Have no fear - once you're a member, we'll send you a long, creative list with blog topic ideas, and you can take it from there!
